HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

O.K., so Mother's Day is actually Sunday. But Elisabeth just sent these fabulous photos of me and my little girl, so I had to post. They are just too good :)

Butterflies...

About two weeks ago Felicity and I ventured to Milwaukee to visit Noah and Elisabeth. Here are some photos from our experience at the butterfly room at the museum.











Her infatuation with caterpillars ("day-woa-woas") continues to grow. Despite the five thousand times we've read The Very Hungry Caterpillar she has yet to catch on that day-woa-woas turn into buh-flies.













She continues to refer to herself as "Ti-ti," even correcting us when we address her as "Felicity." And her obsession with doing things herself results in frequent exclamations of "No, Mommy, Ti-Ti do it." Usually this is with reference to eating oatmeal. And "Ti-ti do it" is also synonymous with "Ti-ti make mess."

Her vocabulary is really growing and her ability to form complete sentences never ceases to amaze us. She says, "Daddy taking shower" and "Mommy get dressed" as clear as can be. Both sets of grandparents have been here in the past week! She has had more attention than she knows what to do with and I fear that she will really understand what it feels like to miss someone this time. :(
