Libby Laughs

She's actually been laughing since May 2.  However, here's the first official belly laugh.

I realize that in the movie it looks as though I might be causing some whiplash.  I assure you, DCFS, that my hand is solidly on the back of her neck.

Mother of Two

The thing about being a mother of two is that now that there are two of them and one each of me and Chris, well, we rarely get any time when one of us isn't occupied with one of them.  So, in this brief time when both are sleeping and I have TWO HANDS to type, let's just update.

Today: Libby laughed out loud a bunch of times while Felicity was taking her gymnastics class.

Recently: Felicity has been playing outside with the "big kids." She opens the screen door and shouts, "Ok everybody, I'm coming!"  She is still a bit frustrated that she can't do everything on her own, but this new go-outside-without-grownups is a new thing.  Sure, we watch her from the windows and peep outside a bunch, but all in all she wants us to stay away so she can play with her friends.

We are looking forward to fun times this summer when we can enjoy being outside!
