Felicity's Big Girl Bike!

The thing about having an energetic 3 year old is that our weekends need activities packed into them.  Sure, we stay at home for a while in the morning and read books and play dolls, but there has to be some scheduled outing with which we can bribe her: "Felicity, if you don't pick up your toys then you can't go to Target" or "If you don't stop whining we won't go to the grocery store."  But yesterday was one of the busier days.  We went to an Easter egg hunt--I know, I know, taking the little Jewish girl to the Easter egg hunt might seem a bit confusing.  But I refuse to believe that there is anything particularly religious about plastic eggs and a bunny mascot.  And this bunny, by the way, ARRIVED BY HELICOPTER and landed in the baseball field, welcomed my a mob of 3000 kids.  No kidding.  It was packed.

So, after hunting for completely-exposed-to-the-eye-and-not-at-all-hidden eggs, ("Oh, Felicity, great job, you found one! IN PLAIN SIGHT") we went into town to visit all the stores that were handing out more plastic eggs with goodies inside.  Felicity was in heaven.  And she said thank you to everyone.  So, when we were in the bike store to collect our egg we decided to try out some bikes.  And, long story short, we ended up purchasing one.  Sure, we could have gotten one at Target, but it wouldn't be nearly as nice as this one.  And, well, despite the fact that it was Easter, the Jew in me had to get her THE BEST one.  So, we left there with a helmet, a new bike, and a bike horn.
